Dennis Wells, a PGA Master Professional, currently teaches at Spencer Golf Academy, located at Northstone CC in Huntersville, North Carolina. Dennis brings more than 30 years experience to the position.
Over three decades, Dennis has taught thousands of golfers of all ages and ability including junior golfers, beginner golfers, college players, and professionals. While serving as a PGA Master Professional, Dennis’s Junior Golf Programs were attended by over 500 players per year.
Not only does Dennis excel in teaching golf, but he is also an accomplished player having won numerous PGA Section events. In 2019, he qualified for and competed in the US Senior Open Championship.
In 2011, Dennis was named “Southern Ohio PGA Golf Professional of the Year”, the highest honor bestowed by the PGA of America and was named as Southern Ohio PGA’s Junior Golf Leader for outstanding contributions to Junior Golf three times. He has also earned “Expert Certification” in the USGA Rules of Golf.
